Public Notices

Public notices keep the public informed about government activity, allowing them to weigh in on local issues before official decisions are made. Minnesota statutes regulate which legal notices must be posted and which notices must also be published. Public notices include, but are not limited to, notice of meetings, elections, hearings, and bid requests.

Goodwill Township’s official posting place is at the township’s meeting place. The posting box is located on the south face of the Lake Vermilion Fire Brigade building located at 8025 Oak Narrows Road. For published public notices, the Cook Herald News is currently the official newspaper.
